Royal Caribbean is offering complimentary premium beverage packages on select trans-Atlantic repositioning itineraries this spring when booking a balcony or higher stateroom. The packages are valued at $55 dollars per person, per day, and there is a limit of 2 per stateroom. Bookings must be made by February 15th.

Trans Atlantic crossings are pretty lengthy, ranging from 11 to 15 nights, so there is some real value here if you can be away that long and are inclined to imbibe. This offer is available on Adventure of the Seas, Brilliance of the Seas, Independence of the Seas, and Navigator of the Seas. There are some really favorable prices on these sailings right now. I’d be all over one of these if I had the time! Take a look.I did and I really want to sail! :)

  1. I don’t have time or the interest to sail, but if this free booze thing would catch on maybe I could make it. That’s been one gripe I’ve had with cruises in the past. So taking that off the table may…may cause a second look.

  2. Some of the up market lines are all inclusive. Of course, the prices are higher too…but I think they are not that much higher when really analyze the numbers.

  3. Also, I don’t think the bar prices are that awful, but I have mostly lived in expensive cities, and I rarely get more complicated than wine or beer.

  4. When you are BUYING the premium package is it a calendar day or 24 hour period? When partying you hate to turn into a pumpkin at midnight.

  5. I don’t see how you add this to the booking? I can’t find anywhere on their site that it mentions this or a booking code or anything. Am I missing something?

  6. Nic,

I’d call just make sure. You can’t purchase RCL packages online yet.

  7. No pumpkin time. It’s good all the time.

  8. This is a sweet deal. I wonder if I combine it with the bonus miles promotion offer. Hmm, will have to check into this.

    Thanks for the heads up.

  9. @TravellingWellforLess, a couple of those eligible cruises are pricing at 299 per person. No way I wouldn’t be all over this if I had the time off!

  10. I thought I had seen it was available for sale by the day (if you’re not doing high enough room to get it free). Maybe that was a different cruise line.

  11. Carl, it is for sale on all RCL itineraries of 7 nights or longer now. So you could certainly book one of these T/A itineraries in an inside room and buy the package.
